I Still Hate the COLD!!!!!!!Renamed for Anne But I'm trying to think happy thoughts

And so the crappy weather continues on we are in for a cold winter we have been fighting against wind chills that drop temps to -40 to -45. what to do but curl up in a blanket with ht apple cider and read a book.....or watch so t.v........or a movie.......or my favorite sleep..... I think that hibernation is not just for the bears but me too. I think I would do quite well to not wake up until spring when everything is fresh and new. I can't believe that Christmas is a week away, I always have everything done by the end of Nov. but this year I am way behind I still have presents that need to be bought. Arghhh I hate shopping in Dec. I think I might even say that there is a little humbug in me. Anyway my fingers are blue which means I need to curl up in my blanket again!!!

Winter life

Well it's a very hard reality to be back in the grind of life and COLD SNOW in just three days I went from beach to skating on the pond by my house, winter gear in all.
Something fun and new for us this year we got three families together went to CD trees and went on the hunt for the perfect tree to cut down. We have never done this before cause I have a fake tree and I like it but new things must be done so off we went. It was so much fun we went for a sleigh ride, and drank hot chocolate and got a beauty. Our friend Dave had to get himself a 14 foot tree, us others just stuck with 8 foot trees but they are huge and my living room has been taken over with TREE

Philipsburg St. Maarten

This was my favorite Island we went zip linning here at a tree adventure, where I was met by a monkey that I got to feed. There were lizards climbing all over the trees while we were up there. I tried to catch one but no luck with the heat they are super fast. We went to the beach here aswell and got more then we bargained for Swim suits optional!!
This is the life laying around soaking in the sun, swimming in the ocean. I think I was born to live in tropical weather, such a peaceful way of life. No such luck look where I ended up back in winterpeg!!!
Lets just say there will be many more cruises in my life!!!!!

St. Thomas U.S.V.I

I loved St. Thomas it was a tiny little island we went Parasailing here, what a high that was. Let just say I was a little worried about the fish in the ocean coming and getting me how embarassing to be scared of fish but that's what got me. I loved floating up 600 ft above everyone, Once we were up I wondered what I was nervous about. We then headed to a beach called Magen's Bay Beach. And yes to all who wonder just how close fish will swim Shona stepped on one!!! James had to piggy back me for a while so that incase any came close they would get him first!!! I did get to see one jump out a ways from us and a turtle came to check us out too. this is one of the top ten beaches in the world. I loved the sand it is all mixed in with broken shells so fine and white. Plus you have to love the color of the water, but don't inhale any of it the salt was out of this world. It even made me gag it was so strong. Even on the boat the spary off the water would leave salt all over, this is why you have wonderful skin well cruising.

San Juan

Here we are in San Juan Puerto Rico, I was amazed at how peaceful it was slowing coming into land. Being out in the open ocean, I found myself lost in thought of the beauty of the water as you sit and watch it go by. The water was so blue and even away from land you could see where the water got deeper the color changed. Quite a bit different from the brown water that you see in manitoba. Watching the waves come crashing onto shore was so peaceful. We had a tour of the island with short stops to take pictures. It was something else to go from dirt poor houses to mansions all mixed in with each other.

Since this was the first of my cruising experiences I found myself swaying quite a bit on the boat, my tummy was not always so happy. I fought it up until thursday which was day 5 and Darren was my gardian angel and gave me the ear patch to wear. When I was looking through all the pictures I came across these beauties which show just how much the boat was moving. I didn't feel so bad that I had to give into the patch when I saw these. It was not this bad every day but quite of few, they even had to cancel aquafit. But even with the swaying of the boat I would be back there in a heart beat if I could.

The long awaited life of the cruiser!!!

Well it has been one week since we got back from our Crusie and can I just say I LOVED IT!!! How great is it to go away get rejuvenated and feel ready to take the world on. I thought the boat was amazing and loved all our ports with St Martin on the top of the list. From boxing, swimming, hot tubbing, great food, wall climbing and dancing on board who would need to get off the boat. We did however find lots to do we went parasailing, zip linning, laying on the beach, sight seeing and of course shopping we were busy from sun up to sun up. There was little time for sleep when so much needed to be seen and done. We couldn't have gone with a better group everyone was a blast. The first thing James said this week was that he missed all our crusie buddies( if you know Jmaes that is hugh!) To all who have crusie before I now join the ranks of cruise lover for all who have never left land before WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

High School Musical and still GOING

Well what can I say my children have brought high school musical in the house. My children are too much like their mom if I like something that is all I do. So now we sing all the songs when it's movie night we watch #1 and #2 the third is out so my kids beg to go see it everyday. Will our house ever be the same will we hear anything besides Troy and Gabrielle singing? Are your kids loving these movies too?

HALLOWEEN

Here we are with another halloween under our belts. The kids had a blast trick or treating and with our great weather this year, NO winter jackets!!! As you can see we got quite the hull and with my boot camp guess who can't help eat any CANDY. Let see what kind of will power I have to with stand all that junk!! I let the kids have halloween candy for breakfast. The best part of all hoildays for me is how clean my house looks after all the decorations are down.
Lastly fun news my girlfriend has had all her babies on a holiday and baby #5 came on Halloween Heather had a baby girl weighing in at 8 pounds, her name is most likely going to be Ruby and I am heading down to the hospital to met her. I am so excited. I love that there is always someone having a baby and it is never going to be me again....ttfn

Obessesed

Well it has been awhile since I have posted and thought that you all might want to know what is going on in my life. So I got sick two weeks ago, bored out of my head nothing to do but sleep I decided to read a book, the next problem what book would tempt me enough to read and enjoy??? So I had heard alot about the twilight saga, a bunch of my girlfriends told me I should read them. So in a day and a half the first book done and I wanted more, I loved the story Yes I am an Edward fan. So yes I was still sick and ran out to go buy the other three books. In a space of five days I had the whole series read. I was back to feeling human again doing laundry and going to boot camp every morning having my trainer kick me in to harder and harder routines but all I had on the brain was my Vampire. So this past week I started all over again and by Sunday read all four books again. I still love the characters but do have to agree with Ang that she isn't the best writer out there. Now no one get mad at me I LOVE THE BOOKS there are many things that I am glad that she did. I love the morals of Edward and that she kept them up through the whole story. I love that Bella has a strong character but still gentle and famine I think that too often we are pushed to be more then just a women the world asks so much of us and we strive to achieve and equal ourselves with all the men in the world. I love that we can be strong and still be famine. I think that Bella is a great role model for the teenage girls out there. Yes she was always getting hurt but she had faith in herself and others that she could everything that she wanted. Edward was a little over protective but in a gentlemen way. I do have to say that I did not like the love triangle with Jacob and found myself on the second time over skimming through those parts of the story. I think that if she knew that Edward was her sole mate that love triangle could have been a little bit less in tense and then she just throws in the imprinting in just to make her story a happy fuzzy book all the way through I would have liked to see that been a little less warm fuzzy and more realistic of love gone bad.
Lastly football has sadly come to an end Greg love it and had his final game at the Blue Bomber stadium. What a great way to end the season, hopefully Lethbridge will have a good program out there next year for him to join. It's starting to get cold outside and i'm not sure how much longer we have before there is snow all over the ground, hopefully it will hold out till after Halloween.

Playing with my camera

So I have been trying to play with my camera to get the right angles, lighting, etc... but today the sun was just in the way of getting cute pictures, Janelle got annoyed with me taking so long so we had to stop here the best of my shots most are over exposed from the sun, even the one you can't really see Jell's hair but I thought it was cute enough.

Jelly's first day of pre-school

I am a little late in posting but on Sept.23 Janelle started pre-school, she wakes up every day at around 6:30 am to see if today is the day that she goes to school. I love that the back pack is too big for her but anyone who loves school this much need to go!!Heres to hoping that this undying love doesn't leave in a couple of years when she has to go and it's not a option.
