Birhday Party Bash of 20

Well here it is I did something which some may think is crazy. We had Greg's birthday party this past weekend and it was the party to end all parties. First Greg made a list with everyone he wanted to invite, which we cut down. So with 18 hyper grade 1er's and his brother and sister we started the games. We had seven stations that they could go to and get tickets. every thing from basket ball toss to ping pong ball drop to pool table sink the ball. (I just made up what ever) They then got in to two teams and had relays, wrap the person with toilet paper and shrink art zipper pulls that they could make. I also made a muscle man for them to have their pictures taken in. They then had to buy their super and treats. We opened presents and play one more game of unwrapping a prize in many layers of paper, using oven mitts and forks. Very fun!!! I own my friend Angela a lot for coming and helping James and I could not have done it ourselves. Spencer took Janelle for us and that helped so much. i think she would have gotten lost in all the excitement. Greg had a wonderful time and at school this morning everyone told me their kids had a blast. What more can a parent ask for right? James and I have been sleeping as much as we can to catch up.
Things i have learned from this experience is #1 never invite that many kids to your house
#2 invest in help to make it run smoothly
# 3 do not do it the day before church then is no time to play with your toys and it is hard to lasso your kids into church clothes and get them to church.
All in all it was a great party and Greg is trilled to have it be so much fun. Thanks to all that helped. HAppy birthday to my son who is growing to fast and it makes me feel old.

Too much time well maybe

So since i have found out that painting is so much fun I have now painted my main floor bathroom, James think I'm crazy but i just tell him that since I have so much time on my hands I'm putting them to better use. I now have to get ready for twenty kids who coming to our house on Saturday for Greg's birthday. I think this will be that last year we invite girls to the party. That should help cut down the numbers. I will post pics of our big event. We decided to do carnival games and they have to earn tickets which will they will have to buy their supper and take home treat bags.
Wish me luck for I believe that Im going to need lots of it.

My accomplishments

Well as you all can see or hear from me, I have a list of things I've been working on to keep me busy and finally cross off my list. James and I have lived in this house for three years march 1st and I painted my bathroom yesterday. In these new houses you paint all the walls one color unless you want to pay for thing with cash . So the people who built this house did it the cheapest way, no big deal unless you wait three years to paint the bathroom. I cut all the walls where i could reach and did two coats of paint. It looks pretty good to me. james only needed to help me in hte shower stall and just above the toliet as I could not reach the ceiling. They are nine feet and with a chair I still couldn't reach. However I am finished and now want to repaint the bedroom a lighter color and repaint the main floor bathroom a darker color because white walls show everything.

Fluff from my head

Well here we are back in the routine of school, I think it was harder for me to wake up then the kids. I guess that is what happens when you have friends that need to see you. Work has slowed down, and the next three weeks I only work about two shifts a week. It's kind of nice not to be in such a rush. James has been busy down stairs locked up in his office, sometimes he comes up for air, he is really busy right now.
So I thought i would get my kids into swimming this season and called the pools Well I can get them in but at different times and at different pools for all three of them. HUMMMM do I think I can do it nope. so no swimming for anyone. I hope to be more on the ball next session and be first on the list for my poor kids.
Im also on my 3rd year teaching the same group of teenagers at church and need a new teaching format. When your with the same group all the time change is needed to keep them some what interested. so heres to luck and many hours looking up different methods on the inernet.
I also have a new fond pasttime of sewing right now, I don't know what has come over me but I love to sew everything right now. I have made 11 pairs of P.J. and two dresses. cutains for my room and now Im starting roman blinds for my kicthen the fabric was on sale and it is beautiful so I hope I dont screw up I do have a pattern so here to more luck. I also made my coffee table into a ottomen. Im shocked at how easy it was and how great it looks. Im not fully finished yet as i have to finish where I stapled it but so far even Im impressed what a little imagination can do.

As you can see when we woke up new year eve there was a little bit of snow, how about three hours worth of shoveling. The kids have loved it. Onnew year day we did our big family party over at Dustin and Andrea's. The kids all got to go sledding and Greg did some snow boarding down the run aswell. We had a perfect day to start our new years. ttfn
