Greg's invation for his Baptism

January coming to an end

I can't believe that we are here with the last week of January upon us. Where does time go? I really want to know. We still are not finished our house Reno's but already I have found more projects to do will that ever end? The weather is cold we have been sitting around -35 with the windchill at -46 so we can't play out side much at all. The tension in our house during daycare hours is rising and I am in desperate need of a weekend. Tomorrow my kids are home with a day off lucky for me no daycare kids, just Greg with his buddy Anders sleeping over. The sun has been shining so when you look outside it doesn't look as cold as it is.
As of late I am de junking my house this is a passion that I have I love to get rid of stuff and really that is all it is stuff. I did my laundry room today as well as my closet. I have some many clothes that just don't fit they are all way to big for me. How weird is it to say that. What a great feeling. Yes I am still trying to lose even more weight. I think is my second passion. Now that I know I can do I love the ability that we have as humans to change ourselves so drastically and really why not we have only ourselves to blame for not being happy with how we look. I love the changes in me. I have so much more energy and don't mind a picture or two being taken/ I read in the paper today about this 20 year old kid that has Arthritis and has found that more active he is the less pain he is in. I have a long way to go but its encouraging to hear others with my disease doing their best to better their lives. That is what I want for myself and others.
Greg is getting baptized on the 2nd of feb. I can't believe I have an eight year old! How exciting to it is to get him ready for his special day. I love watching him grow and have a mind of his own. He is learning so much of who he is and what hes good at. I'm a very proud mother. Hope you all are having a fabulous month can't believe just how fast time really goes.

Alina is a scrapper

For Christmas we bought Alina a scrapbook to go along with the kids digital camera, she loves to create pages. It's fun to share a hobby with her that we both enjoy doing together I thought that she did a great job.

Starting to get back to normal

Well here we are into our second week of school and let me be the first to say holy it's going by to fast. I feel like I barely can keep up with my family. We barely have family time. I guess this why monday night f.h.e. is so important so we can get our baring and remember that we are infact a happy supporting family. Anyway here is what the house look like so far we still need to replace knobs lights, paint and do the base boards but I am very happy with how it is coming together.

The new main floor

So here is what James has been up to over Christmas break. If you ask our kids it wasn't the greatest holiday, but if you see my new kitchen you'll just love it. I have wanted to change it for quite some time now and we found my floor on sell so we went for it. Here is the story I wanted to knock out the wall and make my main floor a great room so James had to rewire the main floor, knock out the wall, redo the ducting, tear out the pantry and rebuild it, put in the over the range microwave, tear out the sub floor in the kitchen tear out the staples that were holding the sub floor down, put in the laminate floor, repaint the base boards and all in a week and a half. We are not quite done he still need to put in new lights and do the stairs and finish the mud and taping, and some where down the road put in the new island. What can I say boy do I love my man and all the hard work he has done. Can you say that I'm spoiled?

Christmas Morning

We hada glourious Christmas morning here this year, Santa came through for all the kids and James and I just loved watching all the excitment in their eyes. We had a busy night with my family and had James family come over for christmas day, so my kids we`re super tired by the time night rolled around. We then took christmas down as fast as we could and started house renos!!!!! I will post later with what we did. We are crazy, and only had a week and a half to pull it off before daycare started up. My kids were all sad that we took down the tree and everytime we asked what would be fun to do they all told that putting up the tree would be nice. Break my heart how cold was I but wait til you see the house!!!!

The Nutcracker

This year I decided that Alina and I needed to start a yearly tradition of going to the ballet for Christmas. So after dancing class on Saturday we dressed up and headed out for our date night. It was alot of fun to be out together, but the show was a little to long for her. She got to buy a special nutcracker ornament for her and Janelle and she can`t wait to be a dancer and out on the stage rather then sitting and watching. I just loved having a girly date with my girl and can`t wait to have Janelle join us on yearly outing together without the boys.
