Princess underpants and her side kick.

Here we are on new year eve and it turned into the most beautiful snow day. We got up and found nothing but snow and not just a little, they cancelled church. So here we found ourselves stuck at home. James and about five other guys from the neigborhood went around shovling all the drive ways. (as a side note if you have seen my house we are all cookie cutter with nothing but drive ways. So three hours later he came in. We made cinnimon rolls watched the movie Ant bully, play game cube, read books and had showers. What fun on the biggest party night of the year. We couldn't get to Dustins house where we were suppose to party the night away. it is the one night a year i can get my family to play games. We have missed our game buddies the Court who decided to head to southern Alberta for the hoildays. Thank goodness to a sewing machine 11 p.j.'s later and a crazy house to keep me busy. But good news the Courts return to us on Thursday so Party night Friday here we come. Anyway as you can see in the pictures Janelle decided she need to wear her swimming bottoms over her p.j.'s for the day and Spencer was her trusted side kick. They would come running in to the living room shouting HoHoHo, Crazy kids is all I can say but we love anyway. ttfn

BackYard Rink

As you can see We have been having a ball right in our backyard on our very own rink. This was a kit were you fill a bag and peel off the top layer and presto you have a smooth flat surface. Next year will wnat to make it quite a bit bigger. Heres to luck, Hope everyone is having a blast on holidays.

Momments

There is always presious moments when our children do something or say something that helps us remember just how special and dear they are to us. Janelle was yelling at me all morning and so I took her into her room and set up a tea party for her and her dolls. Im sure alina would have played with her but she was at school. Janelle just sat up and starting talking and getting everyone food. She was just so happy that I stopped and took the time to play with her. I watched in wonderment of my time playing tea party. This is one of those times when you realize that your so thankful to be a mom of a little girl.

Getting ready for christmas

How is it that as people we can't be happy until we have stressed ourselves all up over Christmas. As you can see I made stockings for all of James seminary students and all of Alina's pre school class. HUMM it only took two days and when I was done I just had to stand back and admire my work. I finished christmas shopping at the end of November so I wouldn't be all stressed out well then as I have been sitting around I thought I can do this. SO pressto I did it. i also made Janelle a dress andAlina p.j.'s What esle can I do I still have two days.

Gingerbread House

As you can see our gingerbread house didn't turn out to hot.It was a pre fab house and the icing was too soft, and it kept falling apart. However I thought it would be fun to make it look like Janelle broke it. The kids are in heaven eating all the candy.

Christmas mayham

Well I love christmas, I love everything about the holiday. I love watching my children faces light up at everything. Well this year I think that my Janelle might just break me of the holiday joy. She took half the ornaments off my tree, now I know no big deal right but with four kids she is the only one who insist on touching the tree. So with redecorating it all th time, she has also started up puting everything she can touchin the toliet. I wont even go into detail of all the things that have to be fished out of the potty. I lock the door but then no one can get to use it and that is a whole other mess. I cant seem to find the right tool here to get her to stop. I cant even tell how many times we run into the kitchen to find her with knifes food garbage pretty much everything doing what she ot not to do. I now understand why it is that people dont decorate until closer to christmas. Well I can honestly say that at least I have no reason to be bored. Heck I barely found time to come down here to vent a little. The joys of motherhood. Some days you love it and others you have to work at it to enjoy it.

Really it was a great deal.

Well still on with my washer. i didn't know what we were goingto do with our old set since my washer machine was only four years old. So at church last week in relief society they were announcing that if anyone knew onesome who could FIX washers let them know.( as a side note I 'm not really a fan of all the announcements so to be sarcastic I said well I not know any one but if anyone want to buy a washer I have one for sell, Which I was shot down right away beacause we don't announce sell items in class) So after this lady comes running to me and beggs to buy the washer which she has never seen. I come home quite proud of myself and tell James
SEE I KNEW WE WERE MENT TO BUY THIS WASHER!! He just rolled his eyes at me.
But heres the good news after all is said and done I have managed to get 850.00 back from rebates sells and now the sell of my old washer. Pretty good if I do say so myself. I pretty much got the dryer for free and only paid for hte washer plus taxes. Hmmmm what should be my next great project?

124 pictures

Well today has been a day let me tell you. First three of my kids are feeling sick so we had yet another sick day. Greg has liked being home and able to watch tv instead of learning. Spencer has enjoyed having him all to himself since Alina was at school and then came out visiting teaching with me.
I thought I would come down stairs and move some of my pictures from my camera on to hte computer, and found out that my kids got ahold of and had happy hour with the camera. I had to delete 124 pictures off my camera, ater thought I should have showen you all some of their art work but to late now. How is it that kids can find what you don't want play with what they shouldn't and still you look at them and think how cute are you. 124 pictures I still can't believe it. Kids do the darndest things some times and my life is filled with them.

Just because

Well yesterday was a big day for me I had to prove to james that his money was used wisely. Anyone who knows James this is a task all in its self. So my new washer and dryer came and I had six loads of laundry to do...... well my usual six loads, not any more I did all my laundry in just three loads I could have fit more clothes in but not wanting to wash whites with darks and so on I had three. Well when the spin cycle started on the first load James came running upstairs because he thought a jet plane was taking off. UMMMM well their almost perfect. When your upstairs and the laundry door is closed you only hear a hummming noise. But in his office it is another story. My solution go work in a office somewhere else because I'm in love. Anyway he was impressed although tried to portray that they weren't that special. Its a good thing that I can read minds. After all IAM Tricia. I was sad when I had to leave themto go to work but there is always an other day to use them. Oh but I don't have any laundry to do today, more time for me sucks to be me. hahahaha

Even my kids can fit inside

NOw evryone can see my new babies that come and joined my family. I'm very excited for my time that I will be spending with them. I think I'll share all my secrets with them maybe tell them a few dreams that I have. I know we are destined to be the greatest of friends just me and my laundry machines. As soon as they came in the kids were climbing in and out of them. I guess we'll be having a talk of does and don't!!!!

Lost in pumpkin land.

Here is a sample of our halloween this year I relise that Im late posting our happy holiday. Our pumpkins only took us three days to carve ( I am never planting pumpkins again) they looked great and almost every trick or treater asked where we got them from. Me not feeling proud ( ya right) told them they came from my labour of love and sweat. The kids had a blast going out. It snow the day of and was cold but that didn't stop their determination to go out and bring back a big stash of candy which we still have one bucket left. We ordered in pizza uncle Doug came and my kids were in a day of glory. We even taught Janelle to say trick or treat which she had no problem saying after she saw that she was so greatly rewared for doing so. A whole lot of fun. We can't wait til next year.........

OUr update.

Well yes I'm still here and were doing great. We just celebrated Spencer's 3rd birthday and it sure is a shocker to see them all growen up. We had a cars theme for his party and he carries all his toys with him still. He was such a happy boy to have a party and have friends over. Alina wanted all the parents to go so she could run the party and be my big helper.

Just Funny..........
At our last testiomony meeting I got up and bore my testimony and cried a little while doing it. The monday after Im talking to my mom on the phone when Alina starts talking taking little breaks and faake crying. I love my family ahh aahh ahh a !!! I love to read books ahh aaah aaah !!!
So i stop her and ask what she is doing? She looks at me and say Im being you a church mommy!!
I busted up laughing, really how funny and scary that they are WATCHING us that closely!!!!

A very scary morning

After attending a class this moring sponcered be child find manitoba I have yet again decided to stop my blog. There is this new thing well it not new but it's evolved called morphing pictures and its the new form that patifillers are using to get more and more new faces of children. What they do is take a nude picture and then morph your childs picture onto the body. UMM kind of scary and a little more then I can handle. There must be some way to protect our kids and share life happening with everyone. But I am going back to email.

One of those days

Well two out four kids are down with asthma/ pneumonia so happy days are here at the Northcotts. I say bring it on there nothing like living on borrowed time and thats how I feel. Im getting no sleep and some how have managed not to lash out at anyone. I must finally being growing up right? Beside the fact that funny things keep happening to me too. At work I met a coffin maker. His company is called the village casket maker, some what grossed me out at work. The second thing kind of fun is i went to fill all the perscriptions for the kids and my pharmist here in Island lakes gave me a wall calender, a pocket agenda and a really nice picnic blanket jjst for coming in today. The fact that I didn't get home until 11 am and was unshowered I might as well have had helpless written across my face. All is well adn everyone is in good spirits, so really how bad can it be. At least we get to have family night tonight and I can help put all the kids to bed so tonight hopefuly will be a better night for James aswell. What a tropper !!!!!

Kids say the darnest things

Well a couple of nights ago Greg and I were have a little discussion on how there was no one who loves him as much as I do, and how lucky he was to have me as his mom. He pauses and looks up at me and says Angela does!!!!
