A moment in time
My girlfriend Ruth came over and showed me a couple of new tricks to do with my camera!!! Here we increased the shutter speed to 1000,iso 400 how fun is it freeze time. I must learn more so that I can get better, I must get better....
the new look
It is a sad thing when if all you did was read the instructions all would be well and those of you like did not READ. I washed my shower curtain and then dried it and it shrunk so that it sits on top of the tub and not below......... Well at least I got to buy a new one and I love how my bathroom looks!!!!!
Greg in motion.
This is a panned shot that I took of Greg at his practice on Thursday night. I have a girlfriend that is helping me learn the world of photo taking. Can I say that I love my new camera!!! I am amazed at what I can do with a camera in hand. All those great shots that I've been missing are in the pass, All I need is practice practice practice!!!!

ABBA/Date Night
Last night I had football practice with Greg, I just love going and watching him and his team. after we decided to have a date night. He said he would love to go see a movie with me. We went to mamma mia, now I went to the live production of this and fell inlove with it and was so excited to go see the movie, I was not disappointed with it, I do have to say the casting was a little off for me after seeing it live, and they did change the story alittle but Greg and I sang along and had a blast eating popcorn and having our time together. I realize that there are many things we could have done that would have been better but my kids are being brought up on abba music so it somewhat seemed poetic to see a movie done with all abba music. Greg thinks that date night rocks and can't wait to do one with James I just hope that we can keep this up with all the kids!!!! If you want a care free evening and a movie that you leave feeling happy then this the movie for you. If Mamma mia the musical ever comes to a city close to you it is a must see I think the tickets were about 60.00 a person but you laugh pretty much the whole way through and it is very enjoyable.....ttfn

Our Main Trip
Its great to have friends that become family and really I think that is what makes life worth living. Since the move to Alberta we headed out for the reunion of the most beloved family, and it was just that the kids pick up right where they had left off, we never saw the Greg and Nolan they were clearly to busy for us. they never wanted to anything but hang out and do their own thing, Jarom, Spencer and Alina were three peas in a pod. they just loved being with each other. I can't thank Ang's parents enough for allowing us to take over their home so we could all be togther again. I think my family will need a week to catch up on sleep as we had party night every night!!!! See you in a year
18 years
On saturday we made our way to my grandma's and yes it has been 18 years since I have been there. I was flooded with fond memories of my childhood days out on the farm. I loved being there. I didn't remeber just beautiful it is out there. The kids had a great time with family. They helped with the carrots as my uncle is a carrot farmer, grandma bought a ice cream cake yummy! and My aunt taught the kids plays and camp fire songs we even watched old videos of the cousins. Really a person shouldn't wait so long to do a fun fa,ily holiday like this. My kids really needed to see where I spent my summers.
GOING TO THE SUN ROAD
Our big adventure was in Glacier Park, They have a road called "going to the sun road" It had breath taking views of the mountains, but for me we were so close to the edge of the road that I kept waiting for us to drive off!!! i was very happy when we made it to the top. James and the kids decided that we needed to go hiking so there was a couple of hikes you can do James pick the wrong one and we found ourselves on a difficult hike. We found ourselves on the edge of a cliff with a rope to hold on well you jimmy across it!!! I put a stop to this and made my LITTLE family turn around and head back to the car. On our way back we were stopped by a family of mountain goats who were on our same path, the one came so close to James if he had reached out his hand he could have touched it, Well I was scared of cousre and we had to wait it out until they finally ran off leaving me there trembling holding on to my kids for dear life. It seems there is always an andventure out there if you are willing to go out looking for it which in our case some seek and others are just along for the ride.... being me. It was a beautiful day and really it was very peaceful being out there with nature.
the great outdoors
The first week of our trip we went camping, for most of you out there I am NOT A CAMPER I like beds showers all thing not moist and damp. Well I am proud to say that I made it a whole week camping, We stayed in bismarck, billings and then Kalispell, We took the kids canoeing hiking and just swimming to the old swimming hole. They loed playing in their swimsuits getting dirty and just enjoying the great outdoors with each other. A family trip well derserved, we always have lots of kids around and it was so nice to just be us for a while. Some of the high lights were the fires every night, cooking our own meals, sight seeing beautiful Montana and for Greg catching this turtle in the stream just infront of our campground. for me it was finally getting my digital slr camera!!!
Caterpilliy
Just a little update of the happening around here this summer, About three weeks ago now we found a hugh fat caterpiller, the kids thought it would be a great pet so we made a nice home for him and two days later he loved it so much he formed a cacoon. Well a week later we were packing up to leave on holidays and I feared that if our little friend didn't tranform he would die. On monday moring we woke up ready to leave and this is what we found ready to take flight..... well it took him a litlle while to fly away.
