To Be or Not To Be...................Crabby?

Well a week and a half ago Greg decided he needed a pet. Any one who knows me it always ends up as a bunny but because of Janelle that can no longer be the case. So off we go to the pet store and come home with a ................ hermit crab. Now you may think why would anyone buy a crab, well let me tell you it is a great pet. He stays in his tank and you can pick him up and he will crawl all over, and when your done you just put him back in the tank. How the real fun part is that they like to move from house to house so you have to provide different shells for him to go from. Ours has not picked a new home yet but we are waiting. The the other great thing is that they have to be cleaned weekly and given fresh water and misted every day so Greg really has to take care of him. We all love watching it. I won't touch him to gross for me the the rest of the family touches him all the time. I highly recommend it for a pet.
My day care is off and running I gave my notice to home depot and finish there in two weeks. I have two sweet kids right now and two causals that are starting until their mom finds a full time job. It is so neat to meet people and them trust me with their kids. I have a craft, singing reading, game time every day so it has really helped me with routine. I love it, and my house stays cleaner better, werid I know! here are the pictures of the crab, Spencer playing princess with Alina and Alina's project from school. i was so proud of her. ttfn

The things I do!!!

So as some of you know I got a job at home depot about six months ago, now after doing it i have come to the knowledge that mybe this is not sao fare on James and the kids, Now don't get me wrong I have loved it. Last week however i got a call from a girlfriend who had's a friend in need of daycare( side note i have been thinking of opening one) so she comes over with her two kids and i agree to take them on. Now I need to quit home depot and find two more kids and hope that this works out. i know i do things fast without much thought but i have really been thinking about this one and feel like its something i can do, any thoughts on the matter? The summer will be the only hard part cuz I will have all my kids home but James works all the time and Cheryl is a nurse so has shift work. I want to have game plan so I have been busy getting craft ideas and teh basement family room all finished. so wish me luck.

Birhday Party Bash of 20

Well here it is I did something which some may think is crazy. We had Greg's birthday party this past weekend and it was the party to end all parties. First Greg made a list with everyone he wanted to invite, which we cut down. So with 18 hyper grade 1er's and his brother and sister we started the games. We had seven stations that they could go to and get tickets. every thing from basket ball toss to ping pong ball drop to pool table sink the ball. (I just made up what ever) They then got in to two teams and had relays, wrap the person with toilet paper and shrink art zipper pulls that they could make. I also made a muscle man for them to have their pictures taken in. They then had to buy their super and treats. We opened presents and play one more game of unwrapping a prize in many layers of paper, using oven mitts and forks. Very fun!!! I own my friend Angela a lot for coming and helping James and I could not have done it ourselves. Spencer took Janelle for us and that helped so much. i think she would have gotten lost in all the excitement. Greg had a wonderful time and at school this morning everyone told me their kids had a blast. What more can a parent ask for right? James and I have been sleeping as much as we can to catch up.
Things i have learned from this experience is #1 never invite that many kids to your house
#2 invest in help to make it run smoothly
# 3 do not do it the day before church then is no time to play with your toys and it is hard to lasso your kids into church clothes and get them to church.
All in all it was a great party and Greg is trilled to have it be so much fun. Thanks to all that helped. HAppy birthday to my son who is growing to fast and it makes me feel old.

Too much time well maybe

So since i have found out that painting is so much fun I have now painted my main floor bathroom, James think I'm crazy but i just tell him that since I have so much time on my hands I'm putting them to better use. I now have to get ready for twenty kids who coming to our house on Saturday for Greg's birthday. I think this will be that last year we invite girls to the party. That should help cut down the numbers. I will post pics of our big event. We decided to do carnival games and they have to earn tickets which will they will have to buy their supper and take home treat bags.
Wish me luck for I believe that Im going to need lots of it.

My accomplishments

Well as you all can see or hear from me, I have a list of things I've been working on to keep me busy and finally cross off my list. James and I have lived in this house for three years march 1st and I painted my bathroom yesterday. In these new houses you paint all the walls one color unless you want to pay for thing with cash . So the people who built this house did it the cheapest way, no big deal unless you wait three years to paint the bathroom. I cut all the walls where i could reach and did two coats of paint. It looks pretty good to me. james only needed to help me in hte shower stall and just above the toliet as I could not reach the ceiling. They are nine feet and with a chair I still couldn't reach. However I am finished and now want to repaint the bedroom a lighter color and repaint the main floor bathroom a darker color because white walls show everything.

Fluff from my head

Well here we are back in the routine of school, I think it was harder for me to wake up then the kids. I guess that is what happens when you have friends that need to see you. Work has slowed down, and the next three weeks I only work about two shifts a week. It's kind of nice not to be in such a rush. James has been busy down stairs locked up in his office, sometimes he comes up for air, he is really busy right now.
So I thought i would get my kids into swimming this season and called the pools Well I can get them in but at different times and at different pools for all three of them. HUMMMM do I think I can do it nope. so no swimming for anyone. I hope to be more on the ball next session and be first on the list for my poor kids.
Im also on my 3rd year teaching the same group of teenagers at church and need a new teaching format. When your with the same group all the time change is needed to keep them some what interested. so heres to luck and many hours looking up different methods on the inernet.
I also have a new fond pasttime of sewing right now, I don't know what has come over me but I love to sew everything right now. I have made 11 pairs of P.J. and two dresses. cutains for my room and now Im starting roman blinds for my kicthen the fabric was on sale and it is beautiful so I hope I dont screw up I do have a pattern so here to more luck. I also made my coffee table into a ottomen. Im shocked at how easy it was and how great it looks. Im not fully finished yet as i have to finish where I stapled it but so far even Im impressed what a little imagination can do.
