I Still Hate the COLD!!!!!!!Renamed for Anne But I'm trying to think happy thoughts

And so the crappy weather continues on we are in for a cold winter we have been fighting against wind chills that drop temps to -40 to -45. what to do but curl up in a blanket with ht apple cider and read a book.....or watch so t.v........or a movie.......or my favorite sleep..... I think that hibernation is not just for the bears but me too. I think I would do quite well to not wake up until spring when everything is fresh and new. I can't believe that Christmas is a week away, I always have everything done by the end of Nov. but this year I am way behind I still have presents that need to be bought. Arghhh I hate shopping in Dec. I think I might even say that there is a little humbug in me. Anyway my fingers are blue which means I need to curl up in my blanket again!!!

I HATE WINNIPEG........ What do you do with hyper kids when it is way to cold to just send them outside to run?

Winter life

Well it's a very hard reality to be back in the grind of life and COLD SNOW in just three days I went from beach to skating on the pond by my house, winter gear in all.
Something fun and new for us this year we got three families together went to CD trees and went on the hunt for the perfect tree to cut down. We have never done this before cause I have a fake tree and I like it but new things must be done so off we went. It was so much fun we went for a sleigh ride, and drank hot chocolate and got a beauty. Our friend Dave had to get himself a 14 foot tree, us others just stuck with 8 foot trees but they are huge and my living room has been taken over with TREE

Philipsburg St. Maarten

This was my favorite Island we went zip linning here at a tree adventure, where I was met by a monkey that I got to feed. There were lizards climbing all over the trees while we were up there. I tried to catch one but no luck with the heat they are super fast. We went to the beach here aswell and got more then we bargained for Swim suits optional!!
This is the life laying around soaking in the sun, swimming in the ocean. I think I was born to live in tropical weather, such a peaceful way of life. No such luck look where I ended up back in winterpeg!!!
Lets just say there will be many more cruises in my life!!!!!

St. Thomas U.S.V.I

I loved St. Thomas it was a tiny little island we went Parasailing here, what a high that was. Let just say I was a little worried about the fish in the ocean coming and getting me how embarassing to be scared of fish but that's what got me. I loved floating up 600 ft above everyone, Once we were up I wondered what I was nervous about. We then headed to a beach called Magen's Bay Beach. And yes to all who wonder just how close fish will swim Shona stepped on one!!! James had to piggy back me for a while so that incase any came close they would get him first!!! I did get to see one jump out a ways from us and a turtle came to check us out too. this is one of the top ten beaches in the world. I loved the sand it is all mixed in with broken shells so fine and white. Plus you have to love the color of the water, but don't inhale any of it the salt was out of this world. It even made me gag it was so strong. Even on the boat the spary off the water would leave salt all over, this is why you have wonderful skin well cruising.

San Juan

Here we are in San Juan Puerto Rico, I was amazed at how peaceful it was slowing coming into land. Being out in the open ocean, I found myself lost in thought of the beauty of the water as you sit and watch it go by. The water was so blue and even away from land you could see where the water got deeper the color changed. Quite a bit different from the brown water that you see in manitoba. Watching the waves come crashing onto shore was so peaceful. We had a tour of the island with short stops to take pictures. It was something else to go from dirt poor houses to mansions all mixed in with each other.

Since this was the first of my cruising experiences I found myself swaying quite a bit on the boat, my tummy was not always so happy. I fought it up until thursday which was day 5 and Darren was my gardian angel and gave me the ear patch to wear. When I was looking through all the pictures I came across these beauties which show just how much the boat was moving. I didn't feel so bad that I had to give into the patch when I saw these. It was not this bad every day but quite of few, they even had to cancel aquafit. But even with the swaying of the boat I would be back there in a heart beat if I could.
