Just how much do you love me???

Alright so I was reading on my friends blog about these Cinnamon rolls that I just had to try. It calls for a quart of milk, whole bag of icing sugar you get the picture. I'm thinking how great to make seven pans of buns and then I can share them( it's teacher appreciation week at school) if you would like to try them go to www.thepioneerwoman.com very fun site. Anyway on her blog it said the people were known to propose marriage I'm thinking this is great it will make James fall helplessly in love with me again wonderful. SO we were feeding the missionaries(yes I feed them once a week) and I'm waiting to hear the groans of how wonderful my dessert was and James turns to me and said I think I would use brown sugar next time and cream cheese icing WHAT????? you booger does he not get what was suppose to happen? He then goes and gets another tray to share with everyone! Well wait just a second not what I had planned and since no wooing was a happening I'm not so sure I want to share another pan with him!!!! Well they eat two pans the missionaries bless their hearts told me they were in fact to die far, brownie points for them and James did give me a kiss so how can I go wrong. Men some times they just don't get what they are suppose to do, what can I say. Try them and may your luck go better then mine very easy to make I give them five out of five.. Happy baking ttfn
p.s. the picture of the beds is the new bunk beds for the girls, now that the main floor is starting to look finished I want James to work on the Girls room I want to be very feminine.

Easter Morning

Well here we are on easter morning, my kids came running upstairs to show us what the easter bunny brought them, Janelle loves her scooter, Spencer loves his walkie talkies, Alina loves her pet shop, and Greg loves his bakagens( I think I'm spelling it wrong) We do the big egg hunt with our friends the Courts and let me tell you it was a perfect day minus the snow that you see everywhere. how many people can tell you that they had the biggest and best snowball fight for easter!!! It truly was fun Angela and I tried to stay out of it but some how snow balls kept hitting us hmmm.. Husbands? Sons? don't they know they are suppose to be nice to us? I did have a blast trowing a couple although my aim is another story all together. Hope you all had a wonderful little holiday, now its back to the grid of life around here.

The new Light

Here is the new light for my kitchen, as you can see hugh difference I can see it's amazing. I think that it is funny how you can sit and live with something for such along time and why do we do it. I guess we are creatures of habit. I love how much light I have no more living in the dark. The last picture is is the cute chicks that I did with the daycare. I made the pom poms with the softest yarn and the kids loved them. I love finding new things for us to do. This week was a little bit more sine we had to do st. Patricks day and easter all in a four day week but here we are on thursday and the week went by wonderfully. LOTS Of CRAFTS LOTS OF FUN.

My next story I think is just intersting. I have a non member friend that I brought to the church last night for volleyball, not a great turn out but I think she thought that it was okey. So we were driving home and she was asking questions and telling me about her church when she reaches over and say that someth8ing werid happened to Danika her daughter. I babysit Dani as a side note. So they were driving home one day down bishopgradin when Dani looked out the window and said momdo you see the angel? Diane said that chills ran down her spin and she said where is the angel. dani went on to tel her that she was just sitting there in the field. What does it look like? Dani told her she looks just like a mom with a pretty blue dress on. the fact that it didn't have wings made Diane think maybe she really did just see it. Diane asked me if believe that there are spirits around us and if I think dani really could have seen what see did. Isn't neat that a little child can be intune to see and hear things that us as adults don't allow ourselves the same. I think that it is also neat that a simple game of volleyball can get a friend to share stories of what is happening to her children and know that I might just understand what they are going through. If I didn't have a testiomony of power of missionary work i do now. It really doesn't take much to teach an aspect of the gospel to someone. everyone really is out there looking for answers to their life and we really do have a lot to share if we're not scared to open our mouths. now I don't think she is going to jump and join the church but maybe I soften her herat just a little. ttfn

When you let a two year dress themself.

Janelle is a strong willed child, she has always known what she wants and does what ever it takes to get it. I love her self expressions, and the little girl that she is becoming. I have noticed that the more kids you have the more independent they become. She loves to learn and do everything that the big kids do. She loves to color and is getting better all the time. we have pasted the scribbling and are now into trying to stay in the lines. She also potty trained herself in two days. I thought she wasn't going to keep it up so I didn't pressure her. I can proudly say that she has been both day and night trained since Christmas break. Now she is past the point where we are even allowed to pick the clothes that she is going to wear. On Sunday morning she picked her dress and tights. Although you can't see this in the picture she has her bloomers on under the tight which yes she even put those on herself. I was allowed to do up the zipper but not allowed to help with the sweater so here is Janelle's almost perfect morning.... I thought it was sweet. The girls like to match as mush as possible in that I mean wear the same colored clothes, so here are my beautiful divas fresh out of the shower and ready for a wonderful day at church. ttfn

New Addition

Here is my latest painting project. It's my favorite by far, I love the poppies the most! The teacher picked what I think is the best poppy color in the world and really taught us how to make them look somewhat real. I can't explain what painting does for I guess it is my out of the world to just sit and do nothing but paint and I am so so happy with what I have learned. I'm going to take more classes from this one lady. She has a sudio in her house, sign me up when you find something that you can become passionate about how can i not explore and see where is going to take me. Hope you enjoy ttfn

The Weather has finally changed

We have been sitting here with -25 or colder for the last month and a half, Yesterday we finally went to +1 can I bring out the swimsuits and shorts or what? The good thing about Spring is when it finally gets here the snow melts away pretty fast which means budds in my flower bed which means no more black snow and no more hibernation. However my kids were so wet yesterday that I had to have all my parents bring extra clothes including underpants and sock because everything get soaked. Winnipeg doesnt' seem so bad now!!!

At a lump but moving on

So I know this is not a great picture but I need to blog this in to give me another reminder to keep going to my final weight that I really need to reach. I have 17 pounds to go to goal if I could loss more then that it would be ideal but even if I can get down the 17 I know I will feel better. I have been cheating, hence the no weight gain. At least there isn't a weight gain but still I am moving no where and spring is coming and soon summer who wants to be stuck with so much ahead!!! I am also starting a walking program( lame I know but it is about the only thing I can do tha won't make my joints cry out in agony, so off I go to buy good walking shoes. All the experts say you should change your shoes every 500 miles. I have a long way to go but I now have my ipod all full with tunes so that should help. It is -35 with the wind chill here today but I am determined to make it outside to day and start or I never will. My girlfriend also told to start lifting weight so I am looking into programs that my old body will be able to handle.

And now for the most exciting news James and I booked ourselves a cruise with four other couples that we know. We leave in Novemeber and we're going to the Caribbean. I am super excited!!! Knowing people on the boat I think will make the trip ten times better we can all do our own thing but also do group activities. Spencer's pre school teacher has gone so she is telling all the highlights to look for and getting me tour info when we make our ports. James parents are coming to stay with our kids. I am alittle weary about that I know that they will love the kids so can I really ask for anything else? Besides what I don't know wont hurt me and the kids are excited to have them bonus right there!! It is nice to have family right here to help us out with stuff like this it takes a hugh weight off my shoulders and with out the help we most likely wouldn't be going. So here is to family of all sorts!!!!

I have to go so I can get my shoes for I can get out there and walk wish me luck
